Flamingos Found at Mamma Jamma!

The new Mamma Jamma website went live at 4:15 am on May 3rd.  Within 15 minutes we had our first registration for the ride and the first person to find one of the pink flamingos on the site to get free registration.  Congratulations Kim! 🙂 We had so much fun planting those little guys all over the site! Within three hours, they had all been found.  Congratulations to everyone who scored free registration and thank you to everyone who has registered so far!  We have 11 Teams, and 36 riders so far.  Deborah Carroll was the first rider to receive a donation on the site since we opened it up!  Way to get on the Ball Deborah!

Our goal is 800 riders this year so please invite everyone you know to join you in the ride.  The fundraising minimum is only $250 and we have a fundraising guarantee that makes participating really easy and I think you’ll find it a lot of fun with our Fundraising Parties!  The first Fundraising Party will be held after the training ride on Sunday June 15th at the Sustainable Food Center’s new teaching kitchen at 2921 E. 17th Street, Building C in Austin.  We’ll have fundraising coaches there to help everyone get registered, enjoy delicious snacks made right there in the kitchen where they instruct breast cancer survivors on how to eat healthy to reduce their risk of getting cancer again. We’ll also have mimosas to help everyone cool off after a long ride.

Let’s make this the best Mamma Jamma Yet!!
