We ride because 1 in 8 women in our community will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Think of 8 women you know; your mom, your sister, your grandma, your cousin, a friend’s wife, a coworker, an old classmate. Chances are that one of them will hear the words, “You have breast cancer” at some point in her life. She will have to face the scary prospect of treatments that make her feel even sicker before she can get better; surgery, radiation, and chemo. If you could make sure she had the best possible chance of beating it, if you could make sure that she had someone who’d been through it to help her, if you could make sure she had people around her to help while she’s sick, you’d do it wouldn’t you?
By supporting the Mamma Jamma Ride you help make sure everyone in Central Texas has access to that kind of support and care. Register to ride with us or sign up to fundraise as a Virtual Rider and start making a difference today. We also need lots of volunteers to make the ride happen. Check out volunteer opportunities.
