Are you Wonder Woman in customer care? MiracleMan with a map? Superwoman with a supply list? Aquaman at a rest stop? Consider using your powers for good as a Mamma Jamma volunteer! Our volunteers truly are the superheroes that make the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride so special. Volunteers provide the much needed fuel and encouragement to power a rider through one more mile, up one more hill, around one more curve to meet their goal.
Volunteers work to make the ride a success not only on the day of the ride, but in the months leading up to Ride Day. There are plenty of opportunities to help out, ranging from ‘behind-the-scenes’ work like Poster Crew, Packet Stuffing, and Rider/Volunteer Outreach to more public crews like Ride Ambassadors, Rest Stops, and Registration. Currently, we’re seeking team leads for the following areas: Photography, Set Up, Clean-up, Logistics, and Finish Line. If you are interested in working a crew or taking on a leadership role, please register online. If you have any questions or know another way you’d like to help, contact the volunteer coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org
Volunteering isn’t all hard work, though! Our volunteers also know how to have a blast! On Monday, June 22nd from 6pm – 8pm, we’ll have our first Volunteer Meet-Up at Doc’s Motorworks on 38th Street. If you are a current/former volunteer or just interested in learning more about the opportunities to help out, stop by Doc’s and grab something to eat and drink with us on Monday night. Spread the word! Hope to see you there!
