Can’t ride but want to help? There are lots of ways you can lend a hand without riding. You can volunteer, you can donate, you can fundraise, and you can tell people about us. Big or small, every contribution matters and will help make a difference for people in our community facing breast cancer.
What’s your superpower? Are you Wonder Woman in HR? Superman with a supply list? Aquaman at a water stop? Miracleman with a map? Want to use your powers for good? Join an awesome team of caring people who bring joy, humor, creativity, and fun to this amazing event each and every year! Volunteer Registration is open! Work at the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride Office the day before the ride greeting and encouraging riders at early check-in, while keeping paperwork blissfully organized. You will be responsible for giving riders their packet and T-shirt and collecting any funds they need to turn in.
Meet at the ride location on Friday, September 25 to set up all the banners and signs, mark the route, ensure that all pit stop supplies are loaded and ready to be dropped off Saturday morning.
Help fuel riders for the day. Pick up coffee and supplies at participating coffee shops and deliver to the ride start. Help monitor breakfast stations and clean up after. Food Prep on Friday evening before the ride is also an option for this crew.
Hang out with one other person to alert riders of potential hazards on the route. For example, you may be stationed at a water crossing or a sharp turn. Cheer riders on as you point the way! This crew is divided into 2 shifts.
Welcome Riders in to rest, refuel, and receive encouragement at one of the various rest stops along the course. Sign up here to receive more details from the Rest Stop crew chief.
Can’t make it for the whole day? Join us in the afternoon to celebrate riders as they finish and help to pack away all the Mamma Jamma gear. Volunteers will help ensure that the only thing we leave behind at the location is love and gratitude for such a beautiful place! THEN head to the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride Office at 7537 Cameron Rd. Austin, TX 78752 to unload.
This is a super easy way show that you care about helping people with breast cancer! Most of our riders heard about us from a friend. Can you help us spread the word about the ride and raise breast cancer awareness?
This is a quick and easy way to help and anyone, who has a few bucks to give, can make a difference.
Anyone can help fundraise for Mamma Jamma… people who can’t ride for one reason or another, volunteers, out of town friends and family, literally, ANYONE. If you aren’t a rider, all you have to do is register as a virtual rider. Our super easy fundraising tool will walk you through setting up a personal fundraising page. Then all you have to do is contact everyone you know and invite them to make a donation to help. You’ll have a chance to win some cool prizes and have a great time while fundraising to help thousands of Central Texans facing breast cancer.
