Registration for the 2024 Texas Mamma Jamma Ride is officially open! Be one of the first to register for our first-class bike ride on Saturday, Sept. 21 in Taylor, Texas. Enjoy small-town Texas fun all in support of Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus. Registering early gives you plenty of time to fundraise, build your team, and start training for a life-saving cause!
A Note from the Mamma Jamma Ride Director
Hello, Friends of the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride!
I am thrilled to open registration for the 2024 Texas Mamma Jamma Ride – as your new ride director, I am now truly wheels-down!
Over my years of announcing at the ride, two facts from the script really burned-in: one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and early detection is critical. I have seen those facts manifested for too many friends and family. Contributing to the funding of the Big Pink Bus and its ability to make early detection more financially and physically accessible to women across Central Texas is a perfect fundraising mission for the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride, one I’m proud to be a part of.
The cause is enough. But on top of that, Mamma Jamma is special. It’s a community bound together by common cause, riding together as a celebration, a remembrance, a challenge, a proof, an act of defiance, a sharing. It has a life, a beating heart, and a ton of personality. And we do all this on bikes –simple, beautiful machines that embody freedom. We all share this road.
So, I am proud, humbled, and ready for the challenge of building on the amazing work done by former Ride Director Marion Martin, those before her, and all of you, to bring more riders of all abilities and walks of life out on the road with us, to spread awareness, to save lives, and to make the Mamma Jamma Ride everything it has the potential to be as a singular force for good.

Blessing of the Bicycles
Join us for the 3rd annual outdoor Blessing of the Bicycles at New Sweden Lutheran Church! Make plans to ride toward New Sweden Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 13 for this beautiful and inspiring event. Tours and refreshments, including homemade Swedish cookies, start at 9:00 am. Taylor Bike Company will provide bike mechanical support. Water and portable restrooms onsite, too!
