Thanking Your Donors, Rider Survey and more!
Thanking Your Donors!
What an amazing Mamma Jamma ride we had on Saturday! Together we have so far raised over $388K to support the life-saving mission of Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus. As we say thanks to all of you, we invite you to send special thanks to your donors as well!
Here are two easy ways to thank your donors for their support via your Classy fundraising page.
1. Thank from your activity feed
The easiest way to track and thank your donors is from your Classy fundraising page. Visit your page and scroll down to your activity feed. Hit “Reply” under a donation and write a thank you message in the text block. Tap “Post Comment” to post your message and to send a notification email to the donor.
2. Thank from your editor
You can also thank donors from within your editor. To do so, select the “Donations” tab to view your list of donations. Any donors who haven’t been thanked will have a “Thank” button next to their donation. Hit the button to write a thank you message. When your message is done, tap the “Comment” button to send it. The message will appear on your fundraising page’s activity feed and be sent as an email to the donor. Thanking a donor also automatically marks them as ‘thanked’ (they’ll have a checkmark instead of the Thank button).
Fundraising Continues!
Don’t forget that fundraising continues for this year’s ride through November 30. Keep in mind that we will place the final order for 2023 Big Wig Jerseys after fundraising ends. Big Wigs are those who have raised $1,500 and up, so if you’re on your way there, keep pushing to get those donations from friends, family, and any matching gifts from your employer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and another great opportunity to talk about the life-saving mission of the Big Pink Bus.
