Tuesday Tip: Know the Facts and Save More Lives!

Know the Facts!
It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and time for some Big Pink facts!

1. 1 in 8 women in Central Texas will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

2. Breast cancer is 99% survivable if caught early in Stage One.

3. Survival rate drops to 27% if detected at Stage Four.

4. Early detection of breast cancer through annual mammograms saves lives!

This is where the Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus, and YOU, come in!

Fundraising Continues!
The 2022 Texas Mamma Jamma Ride may be over but fundraising for the life-saving mission of the Big Pink Bus continues! During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, take a moment to let your friends and family know that you are still raising funds through the Mamma Jamma Ride to help our underserved and uninsured neighbors get access to life-saving breast screenings. Fundraising ends November 30th, and we encourage you to keep pushing through this final finish line. The more funds raised means more lives saved!

Don’t forget the deadline to earn a 2022 Big Wig jersey is 11.30.22 so there’s still lots of time for you to reach $1000 and be a Big Wig!

How'd We Do?
We want to hear about your experience on Ride weekend while it is still fresh in your mind. Please take this short 2022 Rider Survey to let us know what you enjoyed and how we can improve the ride experience for next year.
