Marion, from Mamma Jamma, and Luke, from Cadence Sports, will be live to answer your questions about Mamma Jamma, fundraising, Ride Day, the Big Pink Bus, and anything else related to this year’s ride. Fundraising Count Down
Remember that every adult rider will need to meet the $300 fundraising minimum to ride. Meet or exceed your $300 fundraising minimum, and not only will you enjoy a first-class cycling experience, a yummy lunch from Greenhouse Craft Food, a beer from Texas Beer Company (riders over 21), live music by Gabor Nicholson Band, you will also get a 2022 Mamma Jamma T-shirt, and handy dry bag filled with cool swag from our partners and sponsors.
Be a Big Wig by raising $1,000 or more and you’ll receive VIP parking on Ride Day, a relaxing post-ride massage, and order for your very own exclusive 2022 Big Wig jersey.
Teams get perks, too! Teams that raise $10,000 or more through the collective individual fundraising efforts of team members, will get a designated Team Tent at Heritage Square. A Team Tent provides a great meet-up location, and place to gather, take photos and hang out after the ride. Three teams have secured their team tents and four more are over halfway there.
Facebook Fundraising
Fundraising is made simple with Facebook Fundraising! Raise an average of $150 more when you connect your personal fundraising pages on Classy to your Facebook pages and get donations fast! Click here for a step-by-step guide to setting up your Facebook fundraising today! Already more than $10,000 has been raised through Facebook fundraising.
Big Pink Bus: Life-Saving Mission
This year, participants in the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride are raising funds to support the life-saving mission of Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus mobile mammography service. The Big Pink Bus addresses the critical need for affordable and accessible mammograms among underserved and uninsured Central Texas women. Early detection saves lives! The Big Pink Bus helps identify breast cancer earlier by providing the latest screening technology to our neighbors who need it most.
The Big Pink Bus will be at the Mamma Jamma start/finish and makes the perfect background for your Ride Day photo!
P.S. Have gently used bike clothes to donate? Bike Kitty will have booth at Heritage Square on Ride Day to accept donations of used cycling clothes and gear and will have free items for you to take too! Bike Kitty distributes used bike clothes to various groups such as Team Africa Rising, Bugesera Cycling Team, Indigenous Road Warriors, Swim Bike Run Fun women's triathlon, and Interscholastic Mountain Bike League. Cyclists helping cyclists! Thank you, Bike Kitty!
