October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and since fundraising continues for this year’s Mamma Jamma ride through November 30, this is a great opportunity to share some Big Pink Facts and raise more money to support the Big Pink Bus!
Did you know.....
1 in 8 women in Central Texas will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Breast cancer is 99% survivable if caught early in Stage One.
Survival rate drops to 27% if detected at Stage Four.
Early detection of breast cancer through annual mammograms saves lives. The Big Bus has provided over 4000 mammograms to underserved and uninsured women in Central Texas!
Be a Big Wig!
Don’t forget: The final order of 2023 Big Wig Jerseys will be placed after fundraising ends on November 30. Big Wigs are fundraisers who have raised $1,500 or more. If you’re on your way to Big Wig, keep pushing to get those donations from friends, family, and matching gifts from your company and earn your very own Big Wig jersey!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 21, 2024 when Mamma Jamma will be back in Taylor to once again ride in support of the life-saving mission of the Big Pink Bus. Registration opens Spring 2024.
