Tuesday Tips: Hot Tips for Fundraising 🔥

Mamma Jamma Ride registration is heating up (just like Central Texas)! This week’s Tuesday Tip is on fire 🔥 with important information on how to make the most of your fundraising page, how to share your fundraising link and how to get matching gifts from your employer and donors.

Personalize your Page
As you are getting started on your fundraising, we highly recommend that you personalize your fundraising page with photos, your connection to the cause and why you are raising money to support the Big Pink Bus. Personalized fundraising profiles are not just eye-catching; it is proven that participants who add personal touches to their pages raise more money than those who don’t. Check out this handy reference from Classy for more information about how to personalize your fundraising page and watch your fundraising total grow!

Share Your Fundraising Link
Make sure to always share your personalized Classy fundraising link when asking for support so that donations from your donors are credited directly to your fundraising page. Read up on how to share your fundraising link on email and social media.

Employer Matching Gifts
A great way to boost your fundraising is through employer matching gifts. Check with your employer for information about a matching gift program at your company and encourage your donors to do the same. Remember to direct matching funds directly to Lone Star Circle of Care (EIN 74-3001674) and designate for the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride. Matching funds received by Lone Star Circle of Care for Texas Mamma Jamma Ride will be credited to the fundraiser responsible for the gift.

Between now and next week, set a goal to personalize your fundraising page, practice sharing your link and check on your employer's matching gifts program. Please reach out to Marion at mmartin@lscctx.org with any questions.
