Tuesday Tips: Share Your Story
Welcome to this week’s Tuesday Tip: it’s all about sharing. Today, we are talking about sharing your connection to breast cancer, sharing your fundraising link, sharing your training progress, and sharing your good news.
Share Your Story
People are more likely to donate to your fundraising efforts when you make it personal. On your fundraising page, in your emails and social posts, as well as in person, share why you are riding and raising funds to support the lifesaving mission of the Big Pink Bus. You may be supporting Mamma Jamma in honor of someone close to you who had breast cancer or you may be in the fight yourself. Sadly, with one in eight women getting a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, most of us have a personal connection to the cause.
If you are not comfortable sharing your story or you don’t have a connection to breast cancer, that’s ok! We’re in this together! Learn more about the Big Pink Bus HERE and share how donations to your Mamma Jamma fundraising effort will make a lifesaving difference. Not sure how to update your fundraising page? Check out this helpful information from Classy.
Share Your Fundraising Link
Be sure to share your personalized fundraising link when asking for support so that donations from your donors are credited directly to your fundraising page. Here is how to share your link in an email and on social media.
Share Your Training Progress
